These Terms and Conditions apply to admission, tickets, website use, and visits to Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

1. Acceptance of Terms

1.1 By purchasing a ticket to Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary, whether through the Sanctuary’s official website, an authorised booking platform, or at the admissions gate in person, you unconditionally accept these Terms and Conditions in full. Acceptance is also deemed to occur upon entry to the Sanctuary premises, regardless of the manner in which admission was obtained.

1.2 By accessing or using the Sanctuary’s official website (“the Website”), you agree to these Terms as they apply to your use of digital services provided by the Operator, including but not limited to online ticketing, general information browsing, and contact submissions.

1.3 If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms, you must not enter the Sanctuary, purchase a ticket, or use the Website. If you have already purchased a ticket in error, please contact the Sanctuary at info@graemehall.com before the date of your intended visit to discuss available options.

1.4 These Terms must be read in conjunction with the Sanctuary’s Refund and Cancellation Policy and Privacy Policy, both of which are incorporated herein by reference and form part of the legal agreement between you and the Operator.

1.5 The Operator reserves the right to update, revise, or replace these Terms at any time in accordance with Section 13 of this document. Continued access to, or use of, the Sanctuary or the Website following publication of revised Terms constitutes acceptance of those revised Terms.

2. About the Sanctuary

2.1 Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary is Barbados’ only designated Ramsar Wetland of International Importance, situated in the parish of Christ Church, Barbados. The Sanctuary encompasses a pristine freshwater lake, mangrove forest, aviary habitats, and nature trails, constituting one of the most ecologically significant natural environments in the Caribbean region.

2.2 The Sanctuary is owned, managed, and operated by Sanctuary Recreation Ltd., a company incorporated under the laws of Barbados. All decisions regarding admission, operations, wildlife management, event scheduling, and these Terms rest with Sanctuary Recreation Ltd. in its capacity as Operator.

2.3 The principal attractions and facilities currently available to visitors include, but are not limited to, the following:

Richard Carter Mangrove Boardwalk (Nature Trail): An elevated boardwalk trail of approximately 1,300 feet traversing the mangrove ecosystem, providing an immersive nature experience. An air-conditioned lounge is available for visitor comfort adjacent to the trail.
Mangrove Princess Boat Tours: Guided boat excursions through Lake Tarpon, offering close observation of the wetland ecosystem from the water.
Gully Aviary: A naturalistic aviary habitat housing a variety of exotic birds including Macaws, Conures, and Amazon parrots.
Wildlife Haven: A dedicated habitat area for Parakeets, Cockatoos, and African Grey parrots under the care and management of trained sanctuary staff.
Rept-isle: A wonderful world of reptiles, amphibians and arachnids under the care and management of trained sanctuary staff.
Little Explorers Zone: The perfect place for little ones to spend a little extra time when at the Sanctuary.

2.4 The Sanctuary’s Ramsar designation reflects its internationally recognised ecological value. In accordance with Ramsar Convention principles and the Operator’s commitment to conservation, all visitors are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that respects and preserves the natural environment at all times.

2.5 The facilities, attractions, and areas available to visitors may change from time to time at the Operator’s discretion, including without notice, for reasons of conservation, maintenance, wildlife welfare, regulatory compliance, or operational necessity. The Operator makes no warranty that any specific attraction or area will be accessible on any given date.

3. Admission and Tickets

3.1 General Admission: Admission to Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary is subject to payment of the applicable admission fee as displayed at the admissions gate, on the Website, or through any authorised booking channel at the time of purchase. The general admission price is [price to be confirmed by Operator] per adult visitor. The Operator reserves the right to revise admission pricing at any time. Current pricing will always be clearly stated at the point of sale.

3.2 Children’s Admission — Nature Trail: Children aged 3 (three) years and under are admitted FREE of charge to the Nature Sanctuary. This concession applies to the Nature Trail only and may not extend to all other attractions, activities, or add-on experiences offered at the Sanctuary. Additional attraction-specific pricing, where applicable, will be disclosed at the point of sale.

3.3 Validity of Online Tickets: Tickets purchased through the Website or any authorised online booking platform are valid exclusively for the date selected at the time of booking. Tickets may not be used on any date other than the booked date without prior written authorisation from the Operator. The Operator is under no obligation to accommodate visitors presenting a ticket for an incorrect date.

3.4 Non-Transferability: All tickets issued by or on behalf of the Operator are personal and non-transferable. A ticket may not be sold, exchanged, gifted, or otherwise transferred to any third party. Any ticket found to have been transferred, duplicated, or fraudulently obtained will be rendered void and the holder will be refused entry without entitlement to a refund.

3.5 Capacity Management: The Sanctuary operates within a defined daily visitor capacity in order to protect the ecological integrity of the wetland and to ensure a high-quality visitor experience. The Operator reserves the right to limit the number of visitors admitted on any given day, whether through advance booking caps, timed entry slots, or management at the gate. The Operator accepts no liability for any visitor who is refused entry due to capacity being reached, provided that this situation arises through no fault of the Operator’s ticketing system.

3.6 Concessions and Group Rates: Concession pricing (where applicable for students, or other designated groups) and group booking rates may be available at the Operator’s discretion and are subject to separate terms and conditions communicated at the time of enquiry or purchase. Proof of entitlement to any concession may be required at the admissions gate.

3.7 Presentation of Ticket: All visitors must present a valid wristband upon request at any point during their visit. Failure to produce a wrist band or proof of purchase may result in the visitor being required to leave the Sanctuary. The Operator accepts no liability for lost or deleted digital tickets; it is the visitor’s responsibility to ensure that their ticket or confirmation is accessible at the time of entry.

4. Operating Hours and Access

4.1 Standard Operating Hours: Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary is open to the public daily from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM(Dec-Apr) and Wednesday- Sunday (May-Nov) unless otherwise indicated on the Website or at the admissions gate. These hours apply to all days of the week, including public holidays, subject to the exceptions set out below.

4.2 Last Admission: The latest time at which a visitor may gain entry to the Sanctuary is 3:30 PM. Visitors who arrive at the admissions gate at or after 3:30 PM will not be admitted under any circumstances, regardless of the mode of ticket purchase or any other factor. No refund will be given to any visitor who fails to arrive before the last admission time, unless the late arrival is directly caused by a circumstance attributable to the Operator.

4.3 Closure and Restricted Access: The Sanctuary may, at the sole discretion of the Operator, be closed or access to certain areas may be restricted without prior notice in any of the following circumstances:

Private events, corporate bookings, or filming engagements that require exclusive or partial use of the Sanctuary;
Scheduled or emergency maintenance of any facility, pathway, or infrastructure;
Adverse weather conditions, including tropical storms, heavy rainfall, or other meteorological events that render the Sanctuary unsafe for visitors;
Wildlife health emergencies, quarantine requirements, or veterinary interventions;
Directions or requirements from any governmental, regulatory, or public health authority;
Any other circumstance that, in the reasonable opinion of the Operator, necessitates closure or restricted access for the safety and welfare of visitors, staff, or wildlife.

4.4 Refunds on Closure: Where the Sanctuary is closed in full on a day for which a visitor holds a pre-purchased ticket and such closure is attributable to the Operator (as opposed to force majeure events), the visitor shall be entitled to a refund or rescheduling in accordance with the Operator’s Refund and Cancellation Policy as incorporated herein. The Operator will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notification of planned closures via the Website and, where practicable, by direct communication to affected ticket holders.

4.5 Access Requirements: Visitors must comply with all directions given by Sanctuary staff regarding access routes, permitted areas, and prohibited zones. Visitors must remain on designated pathways, boardwalks, and marked areas at all times and may not enter any restricted zone without explicit permission from an authorised staff member.

4.6 Vehicles and Parking: Vehicles must be parked only in designated areas. The Operator accepts no liability for any damage to, or theft from, vehicles parked within or adjacent to the Sanctuary premises.

5. Visitor Code of Conduct

All visitors to Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary are expected to conduct themselves in a responsible, respectful, and lawful manner at all times. The following rules apply to every person on the Sanctuary premises and are in addition to any specific policies set out in other sections of these Terms.

5.1 Wildlife Handling — Strictly Prohibited: The touching, handling, restraining, lifting, or physical interaction with any bird, reptile, aquatic species, insect, or any other wildlife or animal within the Sanctuary is strictly prohibited. This prohibition applies to all species, whether caged or free-ranging, and regardless of whether the animal appears approachable, tame, or sedentary. Any visitor found to have handled or attempted to handle wildlife will be immediately removed from the Sanctuary without recourse to a refund and may be subject to further action under applicable Barbadian law.

Visitors are permitted to feed (Bird food purchased on site) varying parrot species in the aviaries. A wildlife team member will instruct on the safe handling of bird species in the aviaries. Additionally, visitors may engage with select reptiles on instruction from the Wildlife team

5.2 Feeding of Wildlife: Visitors must not feed any bird,(Gully Aviary and Wildlife have exempted), reptile, or other wildlife at the Sanctuary unless expressly authorised and directly supervised by a member of Sanctuary staff. Unsanctioned feeding may introduce harmful substances to animals, disrupt natural behaviour, and compromise animal welfare. Any food or substances brought onto the premises for the purpose of feeding wildlife without staff authorisation will be confiscated.

5.3 Pathways and Boardwalks: Visitors must remain on designated pathways, boardwalks, and marked visitor areas at all times. Entry into areas beyond designated boundaries, including the mangrove forest floor, restricted aviary zones, or staff-only areas, is prohibited. The boardwalk and trail surfaces may be uneven or slippery in places; visitors are advised to exercise caution and wear appropriate footwear.

5.4 Litter and Environmental Responsibility: Littering of any kind is strictly prohibited throughout the Sanctuary premises. Visitors must dispose of all waste, food packaging, and consumables in designated bins provided by the Operator. In keeping with the Sanctuary’s conservation mission and its status as a Ramsar-designated wetland, visitors are expected to uphold the highest standards of environmental responsibility during their visit.

5.5 Smoking and Vaping: Smoking and the use of electronic cigarettes or vaping devices is strictly prohibited throughout the Sanctuary, including all indoor areas, the boardwalk, aviary zones, and surrounding grounds. The Operator may designate a specific external area for smoking if it deems this appropriate; any such designation will be clearly marked.

5.6 Photography and Recording:

Personal, non-commercial photography and video recording by visitors for private use is permitted throughout general visitor areas of the Sanctuary, provided it does not cause distress to wildlife, disturb other visitors, or contravene any specific prohibition in force in a particular area.
Commercial photography, videography, filming, or any recording intended for broadcast, publication, advertising, stock library submission, or any commercial purpose requires prior written approval from the Operator. Any visitor found conducting commercial photography or filming without prior written authorisation may be required to leave the Sanctuary and may be liable to the Operator for any unauthorised commercial use of the material obtained.
Visitors must not use flash photography in aviary or wildlife enclosure areas, as this may cause distress to the animals.
Drone or unmanned aerial vehicle photography is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from the Operator and any necessary approvals from the Barbados Civil Aviation Department.

5.7 Supervision of Children: Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied and actively supervised by a responsible adult (aged 18 years or over) at all times during their visit. Adults accompanying children are solely responsible for ensuring that children comply with these Terms, in particular the wildlife handling prohibition, the pathway rules, and all staff instructions. The Operator accepts no liability for incidents arising from inadequate adult supervision of children.

5.8 Noise and Conduct: Visitors are requested to maintain a calm and respectful demeanour throughout the Sanctuary. Excessive noise, aggressive or threatening behaviour towards other visitors or staff, the use of portable speakers or amplified sound devices without written authorisation, and any conduct likely to cause distress to wildlife or disruption to other visitors is prohibited.

5.9 Alcohol and Controlled Substances: Visitors may not bring alcoholic beverages or any controlled substance(strictly prohibited) onto the Sanctuary premises without prior written authorisation from the Operator. Any visitor who is visibly intoxicated or under the influence of any substance may be refused entry or removed from the Sanctuary.

5.10 Pets and Animals: Visitors may not bring domestic animals, pets, or any live animals onto the Sanctuary premises without prior written consent from the Operator. This restriction is in place to protect the welfare and health of the Sanctuary’s resident wildlife.

5.11 Right to Refuse Admission or Remove Visitors: Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary and Sanctuary Recreation Ltd. reserve the absolute right, exercisable at the reasonable discretion of any authorised staff member or representative, to refuse admission to, or to require the immediate departure of, any visitor who:

violates or is reasonably suspected of intending to violate any provision of these Terms;
engages in conduct that endangers or may endanger the safety of wildlife, other visitors, or staff;
behaves in an abusive, threatening, disrespectful, or disruptive manner;
appears to be under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances; or
is for any other reason deemed by the Operator to be inappropriate for the Sanctuary environment.

Where a visitor is required to leave for reasons attributable to their own conduct or breach of these Terms, no refund will be given. The Operator’s decision in such matters is final.

6. Wildlife Interaction Policy

6.1 General Principles: Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary is home to a diverse range of native and non-native wildlife species, including exotic birds that are housed under managed care. The welfare of all resident and wild species is of paramount importance to the Operator. All visitors are required to treat wildlife with respect, to follow all posted notices and staff instructions concerning wildlife, and to refrain from any behaviour that may cause distress, injury, or disruption to any animal on the premises.

6.2 Exotic Bird Quarantine Protocols: The Sanctuary operates under a formal exotic bird quarantine policy in accordance with applicable Barbadian veterinary and biosecurity regulations. Quarantine protocols are in force at all times and may, from time to time and without prior notice to visitors, result in the closure of or restricted access to the Gully Aviary, Wildlife Haven, or any other designated wildlife area within the Sanctuary. Such restrictions are implemented for the health and safety of the birds in the Sanctuary’s care and must be complied with immediately upon notice from any staff member or by posted signage.

6.3 Staff Instructions Regarding Wildlife: Visitors must follow all instructions given by Sanctuary staff concerning behaviour near or within wildlife areas. This includes, without limitation, instructions regarding:

the distance to be maintained from birds, nests, or animal enclosures;
the use of photography equipment in proximity to wildlife;
the areas of the Sanctuary that are open or closed at any given time;
any emergency protocols activated in response to animal behaviour or health events.

Failure to comply with staff instructions regarding wildlife will be treated as a material breach of these Terms and may result in the visitor being removed from the Sanctuary without refund.

6.4 Interaction in Designated Areas: In certain designated areas of the Sanctuary, and only as expressly organised and supervised by authorised staff, visitors may be given the opportunity to observe wildlife at close range. Any such interaction is strictly limited to the scope described by staff at the time and does not extend to physical contact with any animal. The visitor assumes full responsibility for their behaviour during any such supervised experience.

6.5 Reporting of Injured or Distressed Wildlife: Any visitor who observes an injured, ill, or distressed animal within the Sanctuary is requested to alert a staff member immediately and to refrain from attempting to handle or assist the animal independently. Intervention by untrained individuals may cause further harm to the animal and may expose the visitor to risk of injury.

6.6 Biosecurity: In the interest of protecting the health of the Sanctuary’s wildlife, visitors are required to sanitise their hands or footwear before entering particular areas. Any such requirement will be indicated by posted signage or by staff instruction and must be complied with as a condition of entry to the relevant area.

7. Health, Safety and Liability

7.1 Visit at Own Risk: Your visit to Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary is undertaken at your own risk. The Sanctuary is a natural environment containing inherent hazards, including but not limited to uneven and potentially slippery terrain on boardwalks and pathways, natural water features, insects, plant matter, and the presence of live wildlife. Visitors are advised to exercise reasonable care and caution throughout their visit.

7.2 Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of Barbados, Sanctuary Recreation Ltd., its directors, officers, employees, agents, and contractors shall not be liable to any visitor or third party for:

personal injury, illness, or death sustained during a visit to the Sanctuary, unless directly caused by the gross negligence or wilful misconduct of the Operator or its staff;
loss of, theft of, or damage to any personal property brought onto the Sanctuary premises;
any consequential, indirect, special, or punitive loss or damage of any nature;
any injury, loss, or damage arising from a visitor’s failure to comply with these Terms, posted notices, or staff instructions;
any injury, loss, or damage arising from a visitor’s interaction, attempted interaction, or proximity to wildlife contrary to these Terms and applicable warnings.

7.3 Medical Conditions and Suitability: Visitors with pre-existing medical conditions, mobility limitations, cardiovascular conditions, respiratory conditions, allergies (including allergies to birds, feathers, or related dander), or any other health consideration that may be relevant to a visit to an outdoor natural environment, are strongly advised to consult their physician or healthcare provider before visiting the Sanctuary. The Operator makes no representation that the Sanctuary is suitable for all medical conditions or levels of physical fitness.

7.4 Terrain and Physical Access: Visitors should be aware that certain areas of the Sanctuary, including sections of the boardwalk and nature trail, involve uneven surfaces, inclines, steps, and exposure to outdoor weather conditions. While the Operator endeavours to maintain all visitor areas to a reasonable standard of safety, conditions may vary. Visitors are advised to wear closed-toe footwear appropriate for an outdoor nature environment and to bring appropriate protection against sun, rain, and insects.

7.5 Responsibility for Children and Dependants: Children under the age of 16 and any adult dependant accompanying a visitor are the sole responsibility of their accompanying adult throughout the duration of the visit. The Operator accepts no liability for any injury, illness, or loss sustained by a child or dependant that arises from inadequate supervision, failure to comply with these Terms, or unsafe behaviour on the part of the child, dependant, or their accompanying adult.

7.6 Emergency Procedures: In the event of an emergency on the Sanctuary premises, visitors must follow the instructions of all Sanctuary staff and emergency services personnel immediately and without question. Staff are trained in first aid and emergency response. Emergency contact information and first aid facilities are available at the admissions area and will be indicated by posted signage throughout the Sanctuary.

7.7 Indemnification: Each visitor agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sanctuary Recreation Ltd. and its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claim, demand, liability, loss, damage, cost, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to that visitor’s breach of these Terms, negligent or wilful conduct, or the conduct of any minor or dependant in their care during the visit.

8. Online Booking and Payment

8.1 Currency: All admission prices and fees are quoted in Barbados Dollars (BBD) and/or United States Dollars (USD) as displayed on the Website or booking platform at the time of transaction. Where both currencies are displayed, the Barbados Dollar amount shall be the primary and definitive price. Any currency conversion rates applied by your bank or payment provider are outside the Operator’s control and will not affect the BBD price charged.

8.2 Secure Payment Processing: All online payments made through the Website or an authorised booking platform are processed through a secure, third-party payment gateway. The Operator does not store or have access to full payment card details. Visitors are responsible for ensuring that the payment details they provide are accurate and that they are authorised to use the payment method chosen. The Operator accepts no liability for payment failures or errors caused by the visitor’s bank, card issuer, or payment provider.

8.3 Booking Confirmation: Upon successful completion of an online booking and payment, the Operator will issue a booking confirmation to the email address provided by the visitor at the time of booking. This confirmation serves as proof of purchase and must be presented at the admissions gate on the day of the visit, either in printed form or on a mobile device. The Operator accepts no liability for confirmations that are not received due to an incorrect email address provided by the visitor, or that are directed to a spam or junk folder.

8.4 Gift Cards: Gift cards for Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary are available for purchase exclusively in person at the Sanctuary Ticket Booth or designated point of sale during normal operating hours. Gift cards are not available for purchase through the Website or any online booking platform. Visitors wishing to purchase gift cards must attend the Sanctuary in person. Gift card terms and conditions (including validity period, permitted uses, and redemption procedures) will be provided at the time of purchase.

8.5 Booking Errors: If you discover an error in your booking (including, without limitation, an incorrect date, visitor number, or ticket type) after payment has been processed, you must contact the Operator at info@graemehall.com as soon as possible and before the booked date. The Operator will endeavour to accommodate reasonable amendment requests but cannot guarantee that changes will be possible in all cases. Any amendment may be subject to availability and may result in a price difference that must be settled before the amendment is confirmed.

8.6 Fraudulent Transactions: Any booking made using fraudulent payment details, a stolen payment instrument, or without the authorisation of the account holder will be immediately cancelled without refund. The Operator reserves the right to report such transactions to the relevant authorities.

9. Cancellation and Refunds

9.1 The Operator’s full Refund and Cancellation Policy is a separate document that governs all matters relating to cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds of admission tickets and other bookings made with Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary. That Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference and has full legal effect as part of this agreement.

9.2 The Refund and Cancellation Policy is accessible on the Website and can also be obtained by contacting the Operator at info@graemehall.com. Visitors are strongly encouraged to read the Policy in full before making any booking, as it contains important information about eligibility for refunds, notice periods, and conditions under which cancellations may be made.

9.3 Without prejudice to the Refund and Cancellation Policy, visitors should note the following general principles:

Tickets for a specific date that are unused due to a visitor’s failure to attend on the booked date are generally not eligible for a refund or rescheduling;
Where the Sanctuary is closed on a booked date for reasons within the Operator’s control, affected visitors will be offered a refund or, where practicable, rescheduling;
Cancellations by the visitor must be communicated to the Operator within any timeframes specified in the Refund and Cancellation Policy in order to be eligible for consideration;
The Operator is not responsible for any ancillary costs (including but not limited to travel, accommodation, or associated expenses) incurred by a visitor in connection with a visit that is disrupted or cancelled for any reason.

10. Intellectual Property

10.1 All intellectual property rights in and to the content of the Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary website, including but not limited to text, photographs, graphics, logos, illustrations, maps, video footage, audio recordings, wildlife imagery, branding, and all other creative materials (“the Content”), are the exclusive property of Sanctuary Recreation Ltd. or are used by the Operator under licence from the relevant rights holder.

10.2 No part of the Website or any Content may be reproduced, republished, distributed, transmitted, displayed, broadcast, adapted, or otherwise exploited for any commercial or non-commercial purpose without the prior express written permission of Sanctuary Recreation Ltd. This prohibition applies equally to print and digital formats.

10.3 The name “Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary”, associated logos, and branding elements are trademarks or trading names of Sanctuary Recreation Ltd. and may not be used by any third party without prior written consent.

10.4 Visitors who take photographs or video recordings during their visit for personal, non-commercial use (in accordance with Section 5.6 of these Terms) retain ownership of their own original images, but grant the Operator a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use such images in promotional and educational materials where the visitor has expressly consented to such use. Visitors who do not wish to have their images used by the Operator should not submit photographs to the Operator and should notify the Operator if they become aware of any image of themselves being used without their consent.

10.5 Requests for permission to reproduce any Content or to use the Sanctuary’s name or branding should be submitted in writing to info@graemehall.com. The Operator will respond to such requests within a reasonable period but is under no obligation to grant permission.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

11.1 The Operator is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of all visitors, website users, and individuals who contact the Sanctuary. The collection, use, storage, and processing of personal data by Sanctuary Recreation Ltd. is governed by the Operator’s Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference and forms part of the legal agreement between you and the Operator.

11.2 The Privacy Policy is accessible on the Website and is available upon request from info@graemehall.com. It provides information about:

the categories of personal data collected by the Operator;
the purposes for which personal data is processed;
the legal bases for processing;
data retention periods;
visitors’ rights in respect of their personal data, including the right to access, correct, or request deletion of data held about them; and
the Operator’s approach to data security.

11.3 By using the Website or making a booking, you acknowledge that your personal data will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Where processing is carried out on the basis of your consent, you retain the right to withdraw that consent at any time, without prejudice to the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

11.4 The Sanctuary may use CCTV or other security monitoring systems on its premises for the purposes of safety, security, and the protection of wildlife and visitor well-being. Notice of such monitoring will be provided by appropriate signage at the Sanctuary entrance and throughout the premises.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

12.1 These Terms and Conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Barbados.

12.2 Each party irrevocably agrees that the courts of Barbados shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with these Terms, the visitor’s admission to the Sanctuary, or the use of the Website, including any dispute relating to their existence, validity, or termination.

12.3 Nothing in this Section shall prevent the Operator from seeking injunctive or other emergency relief in any court of competent jurisdiction where it considers such relief necessary for the protection of the Sanctuary’s wildlife, property, intellectual property rights, or commercial interests.

12.4 Visitors are reminded that their conduct on the Sanctuary premises is also subject to applicable Barbadian legislation, including laws and regulations pertaining to the protection of wildlife, the environment, biosecurity, and public safety. Conduct constituting a criminal offence under Barbadian law will be reported to the relevant authorities.

13. Amendments to These Terms

13.1 Sanctuary Recreation Ltd. reserves the absolute right to amend, update, revise, or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time, at its sole discretion, without obligation to provide advance notice except as may be required by applicable law.

13.2 Revised Terms will become effective immediately upon their publication on the Website. The “Effective Date” stated at the top of this document will be updated accordingly. It is the responsibility of each visitor and Website user to review the current Terms prior to each visit or use of the Website. The current version of the Terms will always be accessible on the Website and will supersede all prior versions.

13.3 Where a material amendment to these Terms significantly alters the rights or obligations of visitors who have made advance bookings, the Operator will endeavour to notify affected visitors by email using the contact details provided at the time of booking. However, the Operator cannot guarantee that all affected visitors will receive such notification, and revised Terms shall take effect regardless.

13.4 If any provision of these Terms is found by a court or other competent authority to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable to any extent, that provision shall, to that extent, be severed from the remaining Terms. The remaining Terms shall continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.

13.5 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the visitor and the Operator with respect to the subject matter herein and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings relating to the same subject matter, whether written or oral.

14.2 The Operator will endeavour to respond to all written enquiries within a reasonable period during normal business hours. For urgent matters relating to an imminent visit, visitors are encouraged to contact the Sanctuary by email marked for urgent attention.

14.3 These Terms and Conditions are published and maintained by Sanctuary Recreation Ltd. Any written notice to the Operator required under these Terms should be addressed in writing to the postal address above or sent by email to info@graemehall.com with the subject line indicating the nature of the communication.

Acknowledgement: By purchasing a ticket to or entering Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary, or by using the Sanctuary’s website or digital booking services, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions in their entirety and agree to be bound by them. These Terms are subject to the laws of Barbados.
